Cardiac Recovery Program

Heart disease is the number one health risk facing older adults. According to the American Heart Association, among those 60-79 years old, 77.5% of men and 75.4% of women have a form of cardiovascular disease, while 67.5% of men and 75.7% women have high blood pressure.

Treatments are geared towards older adults who have suffered a heart attack, had bypass surgery or other cardiac procedure (stent, pacemaker, ventricular device, etc.), and those with a family history of heart disease.
